With a particular focus on small-to-medium business (SMB) loans, from $25,000 to $200,000, the PRC's mission is to create opportunities for Paterson businesses - including equipment loans, relocation loans, or property development loans. The PRC enables businesses to grow and relocate to the city of Paterson.

As a non-city entity, the Paterson Restoration Corporation administers a low interest revolving loan program with the purpose of stimulating private investmetn in the City of Paterson, which will in turn create new, permanent, private sector jobs for low to moderate income citizens of Paterson, and to increase the Paterson tax base.
